Wireless Amber Alerts™: Because Every Second Counts

NOTE: Statewide AMBER ALERTS™ are issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, so there is no need to sign up for multiple zip codes for areas within Kentucky.




Appalachian Wireless has partnered with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) to offer FREE Wireless AMBER Alerts™.

Please note that you must have a text messaging capable phone and text messaging set up on your account. Messages are free of charge to all Appalachian Wireless subscribers. You may choose up to 5 zip codes for which you are interested in receiving AMBER Alerts™ and you may change those preferences after setting up your alerts.
