With many new laws popping up across the nation regarding using your cell phone while driving, many folks are left scrambling for ways they can still text, check e-mails, or update their Facebook/Twitter accounts while commuting to work or school. With the invention of Bluetooth technology, talking while driving has never been easier. Unfortunately, Bluetooth will not allow you to reply to that email about your ever so important meeting. With Voice on the Go, all of your hassles have now become a convenience.
Voice on the Go (VOTG) allows you to dial into a number and have your emails, texts, and calendar read to you without even looking through your phone. As if that wasn’t cool enough, VOTG allows you to reply to that email by simply saying what you want typed and telling it to send all without typing a single word. Not only is this a necessity with business folks, it can also be a necessity with the younger generation as well. Built into VOTG is a system that allows you to access your Facebook or Twitter pages and update your status without ever really logging in.
To get started using VOTG, all you have to do is visit their website at www.voiceonthego.com and set up an account. Once you have your account set up, you can integrate your phones contact list into their database, log your username and password for Facebook/Twitter, and set up the email addresses you wish to have VOTG to access. It’s that easy. VOTG can be accessed on your phone by either adding their application to your Blackberry, or simply saving the call-in number to your contact list on your Motorola Evoke. This application works on any phone and any model.
VOTG is being tested right now and is not available to the general public but should be released fairly soon. Pricing for VOTG is $5.99 per month and will give you access to all the things I mentioned above which includes speech to text SMS, e-mail, calendars, etc.
