Call Out: "Xoom Xoom!"

No, we're not talking about a Mazda Three, Six, or even the Seven. We are talking about Motorola's first ever 10 inch touchscreen tablet, in stores now at all Appalachian Wireless Retail Locations.

The Motorola Xoom has quickly become one of the worlds most sought after electronic devices, which has left Motorola scrambling to come up with enough parts to fill orders across the world. Once you get one in your hands, it is quite obvious as to why the demand is so high.

Running Androids most up-to-date software, Honeycomb (Android OS 3.0), this high powered device offers both a rear (5 Megapixel) and front facing (2 Megapixel) camera, up to 32 GB of on-board memory, up to 32GB of expandable memory (expandable memory is not yet available on the Xoom, but will be in a future Motorola update), and a 1 GHz processor. The Xoom however, is a wi-fi only device, which means there will be no modem built in to run off of our 3G network. But with wi-fi hotspots all over eastern KY, it will be a breeze to browse the web.

While the world is abuzz about the iPad 2, don't hesitate to whip out your Motorola Xoom and allow them to watch multiple video formats or even play games as the Xoom has Adobe Flash 10 available for download in the Android Marketplace; an obvious selling point for those Apple fanatics that have been complaining about the lack of Flash support since the creation of the iPod touch.

As you can see, there is a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks, and here's to a device that will surely increase foot traffic into your retail location, just in time for those summer vacations.
