Feature Questions
No Answer Transfer
Top 
Allows you to have your call transferred to another number if you do not answer the call. The cost is free.
Text Messaging (SMS)
Top 
Allows you to send a typed message to another subscriber over your phone, if capable. You may elect to pay as you use it - $0.10 to send a message, $0.02 to receive a message - or you may purchase a package which bills monthly on your cellular bill.
Do Not Disturb
Top 
Allows user to set phone to automatically refuse voice calls and direct them to voice mail. Your text and data features will still work, allowing you to use these features while in meetings. The cost is .99 cents per month.
Call Waiting
Top 
Allows you to put someone on hold while you answer another call. The cost is free; dependent on plan.
Three Way Calling
Top 
Allows you to talk to two other people at the same time. The cost is free; dependent on plan.
Call Forwarding
Top 

Allows you to forward your calls to another phone number. The cost is free; dependent on plan.
Voicemail with Delivery
Top 
When you receive a voicemail this feature notifies your pager that you have a voicemail message waiting. The cost is $4.99 per month.
One Number Plus
Top 
Allows you to have multiple phones ring when you receive a call on your primary phone number. The cost is $3.99 for the first phone and $1.99 for each additional.
E-mail
Top 
Allows you to send a typed message from your phone to an email address.
Mobile to Mobile
Top 
Allows you to talk to another Appalachian Wireless customer without using your plan minutes. Most of our plans provide free mobile to mobile calling.
Caller ID
Top 
Displays the number of the person that calls you on your phone, if capable. The cost is $0.99 per month; dependent on plan.
How do I set up voicemail after it has been activated?

Dial your number from your phone-
When you hear the automated voice dial *
You will be asked for the password (default is the last four digits of your cellular number)
Dial 0 to access the greeting menu
Dial 1 to record your new greeting followed by#
Dial 5 to change your password


Then access your main menu by dialing *

A voicemail icon will appear at the upper right corner of your phone when voicemail is waiting for you. If you have your voicemail number programmed in the phone, it'll give you the option to call your voicemail right then and dial it automatically.
Selective Call Acceptance
Top 
Allows only incoming calls from a select list of numbers. Choose from either Manual Activation or a Fixed "Always On" version. The cost is $2.99 per month.

*64 - Activates Selective Call Acceptance
*640 - Deactivates Selective Call Acceptance
*64 606794XXXX - Add number to the list
*640#606794XXXX - Remove number from your list
*647 - Sends a text msg showing all numbers on the list
*649 - Adds the last received number to the list
*6409 - Removes the last number added to the list
*64099 - Removes all numbers from the list
Selective Call Diversion
Top 
Blocks incoming calls from numbers on a list specified by user. Choose from either a Manual Activation or a Fixed "Always On" version. The cost is $2.99 per month.

*60 - Activates Selective Call Diversion
*600 - Deactivates Selective Call Diversion
*60606794XXXX - Add number to the list
*600#606794XXXX - Remove number from your list
*607 - Sends a text msg showing all numbers on the list
*609 - Adds the last received number to the list
*6009 - Removes the last number added to the list
*60099 - Removes all numbers from the list
Detailed Billing

This adds a detailed list of your calls to your bill for the month. The cost is $1.99 for 1-4 phones or $4.99 for 5+ phones.
Voicemail
Top 
This allows a person that is calling you to leave you a message if you do not answer the call. The cost is $2.99 per month; dependent on any specials or promotions. Many of the plans include voicemail for free.
Insurance from E-securitel
Top 
This insurance program is to protect against loss or damage for your cellular phone (deductible for like phone). For more information please visit appalachian.esecuritel.com/.
Ringback Tones
Top 
Appalachian Wireless Ringback Tones let your friends hear your tunes when they call your phone instead of the same old ring. So exchange your ring for some rock right now! The cost is .99 cents per month (excludes the cost of each individual ringback tone).
Anonymous Call Blocking
Top 
Allows user to block incoming calls from "Anonymous" sources. Select from Manual Activation or Fixed "Always On" versions. The cost is .99 cents per month.
