Keep your phone up to date by checking for new software regularly. A new Operating System (also known as an OS) version may have security patches and performance improvements for your device.

Resetting network settings
If you are having trouble connecting to the Internet you may need to reset your network connections. Resetting your network connections will disconnect any Bluetooth devices connected to your device and disconnect your device from any Wi-Fi networks it is connected to.

Resetting all settings
Reset your device's apps to their factory defaults if you are having trouble with your device; personal information will not be deleted. This can be a step in troubleshooting.

Performing a factory reset

Contacts

Importing and exporting contacts

Adding a contact
Create a new contact to store that person's information in your contacts. In addition to saving their phone number, you can store information like email, address and more unique to each contact.

Assigning a ringtone to a contact

Adding a picture to a contact

Adding a contact to favourites
Add or remove contacts from your favorites list to keep your favorite contacts easily accessible. Removing contacts from your favorites list does not remove them from your device.

Blocking and unblocking a contact

Gmail

Sending an email with an attachment
You can send emails from your device from any email account that has already been added to your Gmail app.

If you have multiple email addresses added to your Gmail app, you can switch between their inboxes. Gmail will also group emails for an account into helpful inboxes such as Social and Promotions.

Changing general settings
Changing the General Settings in Gmail will change the settings for all email accounts that have been added to Gmail.
